Skyclad - Reveal Lyric Video For New Song
After eight years of silence, the 13th studio album by Skyclad, Forward Into The Past, is about to be released on the 28th of April. As an appetizer, the band enlisted director/editor Fernando J. Martínez to put together a lyric video for one of their new songs, "Change Is Coming." Accompanying an upbeat track with plenty of folk influences, the politically charged video is a montage of scheming politicians, violent protests and riot police while the lyrics appear as a breaking news headline underneath. Decnt song - not exceptionnal but I'm sure it'll grow on me. Videoclip shows a staggering amount of references, from historical to movies, documentaries or really recent news flash (the most recent French ones I spotted are about one month old I guess) - great stuff
