Dreadrealm - New Song Revealed, New Album In The Works
Atmospheric black metal, one-man project, Dreadrealm, has posted online a brand new track off the, yet untitled, sophomore album and follow-up to last year's The Essence Of Winter. You can check out "Souls Of Sea And Fire" below.
Mastermind Metren Angerjärv commented: "Here, without any warning is a new acoustic(ish) ambient Dreadrealm song. This track will most likely feature as mellow interlude on the next album, which will otherwise be rather menacing and dark in sound and songwriting. While the next album won't be a concept album, there is an overall theme on it of a lonely traveler wandering around desolate paths in a world that is in a constant state of decay. Every once in a while the traveler sits down and makes a fire to keep the cold and dark at bay as best they can. This is a song about those moments.
"I realize that most bands and projects don't share new material without revealing the upcoming album's artwork, tracklist etc first, but I am a completely independent artist and thus I have complete creative and distributive control and can do stuff like this. I hope this song is at least somewhat enjoyable, feel free to tell me if it is or if it sucks."
