We have recently announced the return of Timo Tolkki's Avalon with the release of third chapter in his metal opera, Return To Eden. Now you can check out the official lyric video for the latest single, "Hear My Call", featuring Anneke Van Giersbergen. Return To Eden will be out on June 14th through Frontiers Records.

^ I wouldn't blame Anneke, after all Timo chose her for the song. She just did her best. Maybe a male singer would have worked better for this type of song. Nevertheless this ballad-y type songs have been overdone anyway (to put it mildly), so...

I would honestly rather see him do a new Saana - Warrior Of Light album, this is Timo on rails and in this time and age I would say is a bad thing. It almost feels like he's just doing it to get food on the table..something he has to do, the sound he's making nowadays is so uninspiring and lackluster.

Well, it seems I'm the only one carving this song with a nice face. Loved it and this new album surely will be better than the disappointing "Angels of the Apocalypse".
