Dool - Reveal New Album Details, First Single Unleashed
On April 10th, Dutch dark rock formation Dool will release their second studio album, titled Summerland. It was recorded by Martin 'Konie' Ehrencrona (Tribulation, In Solitude) and mixed/mastered by Cult Of Luna's drummer Magnus Lindberg. Summerland also features a couple of well-known guest performances: Per Wiberg (ex-Opeth, Spiritual Beggars), Okoi Jones (Bølzer) and Farida Lemouchi (The Devil's Blood, Molasses). The first single and the album's opening track, "Sulphur & Starlight", is available for streaming via Bandcamp below.
Guitarist and vocalist Ryanne says about the song: "It's a song about dualism. The reflection and the reflected, two sides of the same mirror. What is left of one Self in the eye of the Other and vice versa? It is the opening track of Summerland and makes a great starting point for the journey through the album's theme."
