Quiet Riot - New Record In The Making
After the death of longtime drummer Frankie Banali over 18 months ago, and announcing their reunion with bassist Rudy Sarzo last summer, Quiet Riot frontman Jizzy Pearl revealed that the band has been working on a new album. The follow-up to 2019's Hollywood Cowboys will not only include new music, but also some unreleased drum work from Banali, similar to 2014's 10 which had new studio tracks and re-recordings of previously released material.
Pearl tells The Classic Metal Show: "It's been revamped. Basically, Frankie's drum tracks have been… you know that game Operation where you take the tweezers? We pulled his drum tracks and have written all new music for that. So yeah, yeah. There's new music. Hopefully people will dig it. We'll see."
