Swedish depressive black metal outcasts Shining will enter Sonic Train Studios this Autumn to record their eleventh, yet untitled, full-length album with a new lineup.

The new lineup is:
Peter Huss - Guitar
Niklas Kvarforth - Vocals
Charles Hedger - Guitar
Markus Rödl - Sentinel
Nick Barker - Drums
Alex Impaler - Bass

Band also shared first new song in 3 years, taken from Shining's split with Høstsol. You can listen ''Ugly and Cold'' below.



At the same time mastermind Niklas Kvarforth has some serious health problems which stop him from traveling, hence why the band had to cancel their performance in Candelabrum Metal Fest in Mexico.

The band comments: "Our dear Mexican friends, due to serious health problems of Niklas Kvarforth for quite a few months and therefore his medically determined inability to travel (came in a few days earlier), especially overseas, we have no other option than to cancel our attendance at the mighty Candelabrum Metal Fest. We thank you for your understanding and apologize for this. We deeply hope and are working full throttle to return to Mexico in 2023. We wanna thank the marvelous Candelabrum Metal Fest for all their great efforts and especially Ruben Barros for his outstanding work. We also thank Voivod for replacing us - we are sure that they will fire up the festival site enormously. "
