Holy Jesus, an Acid Bath reunion?! I never thought a day like this would would come!
Now all the world needs next is a reunion of either Fudge Tunnel or Tad. I wish Kyuss would come back too, but it looks like it won't happen until hell freezes over or better yet, until Josh Homme is at peace with John Garcia and/or some of the other guys in that band.

What a wild parallel universe I live in where Acid Bath is playing the same show as Evanescence, even appearing next to each other on the flyer.

Damn, I thought I was the first one here to blow my shout but fuck it,
Not Acid Row, Acid King, but it's Acid Bath in for incredible news.
Can we now expect a new album from them? *insert Homer Simpson's drooling face*?

I think you're overestimating the net worth of bands like Acid Bath.

I think you're overestimating the net worth of bands like Acid Bath.
A promoter like this has a big cheque book. GA tickets to this fest are $400 and it’s one day, not to mention I’m sure Monster and Tito’s are giving them quite a hefty sum.
My comment is more aimed at them reforming for, what was essentially, a Juggalo Nu metal festival. It’s been a long time, I’m sure they’ve been approached many times over the years to play again, seems like an odd choice for a first reunion show if you factor the money out of it. I know they’re not paying them $1,000,000 but it has to be more than anything they’ve been offered previously.

My experience in the business I operate in tells me that those that have the biggest cheque books tend to be the most thrifty. But hey, Acid Bath is awesome, I hope they make a lot of green and feel like recording a new album.

That is a lot of bands for one day - my count it's just below 60; I think that might be even more bands than you'd ordinarily see across 6 stages in a day at Hellfest, and that usually runs from mid-morning until after midnight. I'm curious to see how it's gonna operate - it seems like a lot of work to put up more than 6 stages for a 1-day event, but I also can't imagine some bands as big as those on the bottom rows of this poster being persuaded to play a 30-minute set at 11am opening the fifth stage of a festival
It also speaks a lot to Acid Bath's cult appeal that they're so close to the top of this considering you've got bands like Exodus, Machine Head and Arch Enemy on the 7th and 8th rows of the poster

Seeing Flaming Lips right above Cannibal Corpse is a pretty funny contrast. Pretty hefty price for a one day fest, and I would hope Acid Bath aren't getting back together just for this one show, so probably not worth the cost.

There is a serious rumour that they are coming to Athens. If that proves to be true, they will definitely come your way, too.

Seems money is out, and its great way to get some cash. Seems many old bands do same now.
I hope new music be out as well.
