Gorgoroth - Enter The Studio
Norwegian metallers Gorgoroth have posted the following update:
"Gorgoroth will enter the studio in their home town of Bergen, Norway on August 25, 2008. Eight new tracks composed by King will be recorded for an as yet untitled new album. Along with Gaahl, King and Frost on drums, the full recording line up will include Teloch [guitar] and Ice Dale [guitar]. Enslaved's Herbrand Larsen will once again produce Gorgoroth in the studio."

Well, this will probably be another broign album by Gorgoroth. I seriously have enever heard a great album by these guys, all are generic run of the mill bm.

Written by Marcel Hubregtse on 20.08.2008 at 17:13 I get the same feeling, though I only own 1 album and have only listened to 3 or so other at a friends house so didn't get an intense listen, though I havn't heard anything disappointing from Ice Dale from the few albums Ive heard him on.

The dispute is not settled yet, Infernus and his Gorgoroth are also recording a new album too. So it looks like we will have two new Gorgoroth albums at once from two different bands.

Whoever gets the rights to the name is irrelevant, both Gaahl/King and Infernus have said that they will continue to make music either way. Anyway, I'm definitely looking forward to hearing new material from both parties.

The only Gorgoroth albums I like are Pentagram, The Antichrist and Destroyer. Anything with Ghaal on vocals is terrible. But I still like Destroyer.
