I love it, it is destroying my neck and my fingers are hurting from the excessive air-shredding.

It's a bit like 80's sound with Load era vocals. Lot's of eerily familiar sounding riffs and solo sections, but I'm cool with all that. In fact, I am seriously happy. Nice epic overall feel and excellent tempo at the back.

Made my day, goddammit... Plays faster than <-- this smiley can mosh.

P.S. Metallica haters will dislike it just on general principle, that's just how things work, who cares.

Call me a fanboy, I don't care, I'm loving the track.

Hum I'm impressed, it's surprisingly good.. Surely not the quality of the 80's albums, but it's far superior than the Load era.

I'd like to gladly say that.. METALLICA IS BACK!!

Well it's ok. But come on, look at it properly; if this wasn't a Metallica song - no one would pay any attention to it.

If it wasn't a Metallica song, a lot of people would listen to it without a negative bias and might very well enjoy it because it's an ok song

The second half is decent the first half not so much. I'm never gonna be a fan of Hetfields vocals though. They were fine back in the day but these days I'd prefer to hear a strong singer if you're doing clean vocals.

I'd love to give my full opinion and I know exactly what I wanna write. But I know how MS works, if I do I'll just end up in a meaningless conversation with people who won't respect my opinion. I'll keep it short then: Metallica has never let me down.

The First half: it was like 'dude, where are you going?' It seems to me like "the song that never starts"

The Second half was better. Great job from Rick Rubin

Hey man, i love metallica too, though St. Anger was one of the worst album i've ever heard. It hurts me to say that but it's sadly true.

sounds like a guitar hero cover band. seriously its like they all played entirely too much guitar hero and decided to make their music sound exactly like guitar hero.

Meh. Its still not 'And Justice for All', but at least its not 'St.Anger'. : / I also don't really like James Hetfield's vocals anymore, I don't know why really.
