Curiously underrated EP/Demo.

And soooo much better than SLaughter Of The Soul, which imo is amongst the most overrated albums in metal history.

Underrated and slightly more unknown than the band's studio albums, 'Gardens of Grief' is a shining example of just how talented the band were, merely after four months of playing together as a band. The guitar work is excellent, the drum work is furious, and even if the production is too raw for its own good, and the vocals too weak to be on a melodic death metal album, the songs themselves all come together as a powerful essence of the band's career.

A mighty strong debut. Old-school death metal in its best.
