Well to be fair, most of the material for Ghost 2 is already there. And I doubt we're gonna see this album specifically being released this year since Epicloud is still being made and he already has his focus on Ziltoid 2...well..this is according to his Twitter anyway.

But still, more Devin is fine by me!

Don't forget though, that was Zappa's usual output, and the quality of most of that stuff can only really be heavily disputed if you just don't like Zappa. I'm not saying he had no misses, or that Devin won't, but quantity doesn't guarantee a lack of quality.

Although I was thoroughly disappointed by Deconstruction, I am still a rabid Devin fan. His personality is a big part of his music, and if the trailer for Epicloud says anything, it says were in for a wacky and awesome ride.

A man of his genius, I can't imagine that quantity affects quality. Just because a band releases 1 album every 5 years doesn't make every album great.

I would just like to note that I have not collaborated with Devin Townsend, nor under any circumstances did I change my last name to Dorval. I would appreciate it if this misleading information was removed, plz.

I usually can't stand Devin Townsend, but that's a great song!

In fact that's the best solo Hevy Devy I've ever heard.

Mind you if the rest of the album is like that, MS will have to replace progressive metal tag with country/blues rock.

As far as I'm aware, he is releasing this as Casualties of Cool, and not under Devin Townsend, so it really shouldn't be on the site in the first place, since it's not part of that... catalogue.

Album released, and yeah it's a bluesy country album ! And it's as awesome as I expected.

Only released under the name of Casualties of Cool, so yeah I don't know if it has its place on this site... At least change the genre, if someone knows how, because I'm affraid that if a metalhead who doesn't know how Devin Townsend works sees this album under "Progressive Metal", he will obviously be disapointed about it and rate it bad...

But just listen to it if you have the occasion, to blow your mind

Ya this isn't a Devin Townsend album, not sure why it's been added to his discography. Casualties of Cool is a separate entity that just happens to feature Townsend as a member of the band.

It isn't though. Even on his official site he said it's a collaboration project separate from his solo work. The name of the project is also Casualties of Cool, meaning this album should technically be listed under that profile.
