- Metallica's new album, hoping it will be kind of a "Ride the Lightning II". - Sonata Arctica's new release, with Henkka on Hammond and grand piano! - Dark Moor - "Tarot". I am sure it will be an amazing release, heavier (instrumentally and harmonically denser) than previous ones, from what I've heard on their MySpace page. - Finntroll - "Ut Jordens Djup". I can only wonder what they shall sound like with the new singer, but they just never fail. ... and perhaps some DVD by Sonata Arctica about their spring tour, including the Madrid concert I attended. The camera guy focused on myself during "My Land", and it would be nice to watch me headbanging in an official Sonata DVD.

Jesu - "Conquerer" (Most Likely this album will be in the vein of the Silver ep,either way Justin K Broadrick wont dissapoint) Today is The Day - "Axis of Eden" (Steve Austin has been doing some creative shit lately with his new Label Supernova records and his Side Band Taipan,This New Album should be interesting...) and the new Rwake album will be pretty badass as well....they Just signed to Relapse so i can see big things coming to them

Nightwish: Without doubt 2007 most interesting release with the new vocalist and all. Wintersun Time: Since the first album is perfect, there's really high expectations for this next album. Norther No Way Back EP and new album: One of my favourite bands, the new song Frozen Angel is excellent. Metallica: Damn, it will be a lot of fun to hear the new album!

Metallica's new album, I don't know if it's going to be as (or even worse than) St. Anger, or maybe better. I only know they won't make another album like the first ones, but I'm still waiting for their return. Nightwish, I also want to know who's or who will be the new vocalist. Hopefully they'll do the right choice and make a top quality album. After Forever's self titled album (or "Energizer"), I know that would be a very good release. Symphony X "Paradise Lost", damn it's been a long time, I wish they've prepared an ass kicking one. Tristania "Illumination", I've heard a couple of songs and the band is losing its dark atmosphere, but I want to listen to the whole album, that atmosphere isn't everything. Therion "Gothic Kabbalah", I took a chance to listen to some songs too and they're just great. Galadriel "Renascence" for sure will be a great release. Visions of Atlantis "Trinity", Soliloquy told us that this one would have a sound closer to After Forever, so I think it would be great, because VoA is an very good band but I think they need to be "heavier" or "darker". Also wainting for Sirenia "Nine destinies and a downfall", Apocalyptica's and Xandria's new album.

2007 is looking like another great year for metal. My most anticipated releases are War of Attrition by Dying Fetus and the new Torsofuck album....whatever it's called. Dying Fetus is my favorite death metal band and it's been a while since they've released an album. Torsofuck is just sick and I can't wait to hear what those motherfuckers will unleash.

I'm eagerly waiting for Sonata Arctica's new album. I hope it's good. Usually when bands say that their new album is heavier than ever, the new songs suck big time. But I trust in SA guys, they can make good music. I'm also looking forward to Nightwish's new album, in case it even outs 2007.

-Judas Priest's Nostradamus concept album I particularly want to see them tour with this; Maiden's idea of playing their whole new album worked brilliantly, and I want to see if Priest can do the same. -Megadeth's new album I've always liked Deth, even the stuff from Risk, and I don't think they'll dissapoint with some good heavy/speed metal -Therion - The Gothic Kaballah Listened to the samples online and it sounds brilliant. -Nightwish's new album I want to see what their new singer will be like, and whether they can top Oceanborn (at least, I want a more guitar-orientated album; Once was a bit too simplistic) -Dark Tranquillity I've yet to hear an album from these guys that I don't like (although I despise Day to End from Projector...probably their weakest, in my opinion)...and if they tour with it, I want them to play here! They're just the right level of popularity to get a date in one of the smaller venues in Ireland. -New Skyfire? I've been waiting for these guys to bring out their latest effort for a while; they've recorded their new album, but are still looking for a label to release it on. Again, they haven't yet dissapointed me. -New Metallica I don't expect much from this, but I'll download it first, and who knows? I may like it...after all, (Re)/Load are two albums that I really enjoyed! -Ensiferum - Victory Songs Another 'try before you buy' one, perhaps. I like Norther's work, but I'll be interested to see whether Petri Lindoos has made too much of an impact on Ensiferum's music...not that having another CoB/Norther/Kalmah style band wouldn't be good... I'm also quite interested in the new Within Temptation and Epica...Epica moreso than WT, although if The Silent Force was just a little blip (albeit a highly addictive one) on WT's career, I'll make interested noises whenever it comes out. Plus the usual buying loads of albums that I haven't got yet...I may have to pass up on half of these, anyway.

I'm expecting a few albums for this new year, some of them will be out in the first couple of months like Therion's Gothic Kabbalah. Im very curious about the new Tristania (illumination) and Sirenia (nine destinies and a downfall) albums as well. Other one I want is "Hope" by Swallow The Sun that will come out in february or so it seems. Besides those, there is the Metallica album to come that they supposedly will start recording in the begginin in 2007. I'm curious about Riverside, if they will release something this year or not, i hope so, its a banda I really like. Then there is the Anathema album that I definately want, its about time, in 2003 was their last release and I miss them. Those are the cds I'm expecting basically, also I have some hopes that Arch Enemy will start working on a new album this year, maybe, that would be great too. Other things will come up this year, new things that I will discover hopefully. I'm predicting a good year.

Uhh, Therion's album is already released in The Netherlands, if I recall correctly.. And I though the same about Grave Digger. And as Basso said, after 'Songs Of Grief..' I am very curious if Drudkh is able to release some good stuff again.

SINERGY They can't delay it any longer! MOONSORROW Very brave only putting two long songs on the album. JUDAS PRIEST I'm interested in seeing how this concept comes out. DREAM THEATER I'd like to see their evolution after Octavarium. PORCUPINE TREE I want to see how heavy it really is. They performed a lot of it when I saw them live but I want to hear the whole album before judgement. AYREON Always a treat. I hope he continues with that folky edge. PAIN OF SALVATION Yuuup...definitely looking forward to a nice quirky release here. NIGHTWISH I'm sure everyone is on the edge of their seat regarding the new vocalist. THERION I'm eager to hear the musicial direction they will progress in. DIMMU BORGIR Not totally convinced but I want to see if Hellhammer's addition changes anything, MEGADETH I haven't even heard any of the live recordings so I have NO idea what to expect. I'm waiting to see how political it really is. TURISAS With the debut of the year in '04 I can't wait to see what they churn out next! BEHEMOTH Still curious to see whether or not they've found their niche. MITHRAS Something speedy hopefully.... NOKTURNAL MORTUM Double keyboard madness to be continued! ARCH ENEMY I really don't know what to expect anymore. SONATA ARCTICA I'd like to hear a 'return to the roots' but a good change is welcome. NILE Last album was brilliant and I'd like to hear the topping up follow up. AFTER FOREVER Curious again. I'd rather it was more like their older stuff. WITHIN TEMPTATION A good opperturnity to redeem themselves after their last poor release. Probably more but this post is probably irritating people in length.
