Demons & Wizards, the hybrid of Jon Schaffer (Iced Earth) and Hansi Kürsch (Blind Guardian), are an amazing band... They have re-leased two top quality albums 'Demons & Wizards' and 'Touched By The Crimson King'... My personal favourite of the two is their self-titled debut, IMO its a mastpiece... The song writing is near perfection and lyrical themes are brilliant... Hopefully, they'll decide to release another soon... What does everyone else think?

Definately well worth a listen... I even that the D & W albums... Especially the self titled debut is better than most 'Iced Earth' and 'Blind Guardian' work...

It is definitely one of my favorites. Yeah so, Demons & Wizards are pretty bad ass. Their first album was fantastic, as everyone has said and knows. The only critic I have is that the second half isn't as catchy as the first, though it still stays in the same vein. But once you get used to the tracks, they are great. I heard their sophmore album once and it was quite a bit weaker than their debut, but I think I just need to listen to it more. I will try and do that in the future. Two great musicians come together, what else would you expect?

The band kicks serious ass! Something about a third album? Can't wait - though this is the only place I've heard it. Their official website hasn't been updated since August 29 2005 last time I checked.

Account deleted Written by __Az__ on 28.05.2006 at 04:20 I agree. It is not neccessary to hear Wicked Witch and Beneath These Waves on the bonus cd, because the better or euqal versions are on the main cd. Then there only two songs left. The two songs are not good enough to put the cd in the player, only because of them.

at least the packaging is a bit more fancy then just a plain CD case though. would be better if it fit in my CD racks without laying at 45 degrees though. haha
