Behemoth - Nergal Opens Barbershop

And now for something a little bit different! Adam "Nergal" Darski, the frontman of Polish death metal band Behemoth, is pursuing a new venture outside of music and opened a barbershop called "Barberian" in Warsaw (Poland). And it seems like it is attracting a lot of bearded beasts.

Check out a video report (in Polish) of the opening here.

Ignoring K7's semi-lucid ravings, I'm actually pretty impressed he went from being tried for defacing the Bible to opening a simple barber shop.

At least he has his priorities straight.

Or maybe he has a genuine interest in barber shops.

Ahah yeah, beards are sexy Maybe you can go to Nergal's barbershop when you go to Poland then and then visit me in Portugal. It's very far away, but who cares?

Hipster transformation complete.

Funny cuz I used to get a lil mad a few years ago seeing hipsters wear Behemoth shirts, now Nergal himself is one... If he spent as much time writing music as he does grooming his beard, waxing his eyebrows, etc maybe the Satanist wouldve been a better album. lol

ppl don't care they can blame him for all, because his musical career already gave bad reputation ... just question, can ordinary metalheads pay for those services, looks more less upper class artists

According to this source the hair cut will cost about 17-21 (restated in euros) and shaving with a razor around 30.

I don't know what the life-cost is like in Poland, but that looks quite expensive. But the place does look kind of classy so might be that. And the average metalhead won't be needing any haircut hahaha.

My barber charges 30 euros for a wash and harircut and no shaving included.
And that is just a regular barber, nothing trnedy or such.

Seems a little expensive to me, but I guess it depends on the type of place you go to get a haircut. The generic haircut franchise companies here in the U.S., depending on what region you live in, charge $14 (11 Euros according to Google) for a standard male haircut without wash (add a few bucks more to include a wash) and it comes out to about $19 (approx. 15 Euros) if I throw in a $5 tip to the stylist that cut my hair. Now, the higher end/non-franchise barber shops here will probably cost about what Marcel is paying.

The price is pretty normal (actually low) for a 'trendy' place. Actual trendy places in Warsaw are more expensive... I still don't foresee this business being particularly successful though

Some places here (Brisbane) charge up to $100 just for a child's haircut.

I wonder if this is his retirement investment, something to fall back on when Behemoth finishes.
Does he do the haircuts himself, or does he just run/own the place? I like to imagine him giving people haircuts and shaves in 30 years time, with other members of Behemoth there, remenicing about the good ol' days. (a bit like those 4 old guys in the barber shop in Coming To America).

What a bad haircut Nergal has in the pic.

He really should get a good haircut first of all.

I agree with Lit on this news, he has done something decent after such a long time. But, I never hate his controversial news either. It's fun.

What a bad haircut Nergal has in the pic.

In Poland Nergal is sometimes nicknamed "czoło" (forehead). This is because he started balding early in his life, and as he gets older, his forehead becomes progressively more epic He simply needs to shave his head, as any reasonable balding man should... Otherwise, there is no haircut that will look good on him.
