Túrin Turambar Dagnir Glaurunga Is ideal for Tolkein fanatics who are perhaps tired of listening to the mighty Summoning, and are familiar with Caladan Brood. If so, and you're in search of a new Tolkein-themed band, one that contains the same old majestic Middle-Earth atmosphere, well Emyn Muil's impressive debut surely delivers the kind of atmosphere you might be looking for.

It's not exactly Summoning or Caladan Brood, but definitely a nice Tolkien-influenced BM album.

I have been listening to this album religiously since the first day I got it. Never before any other band, Moonsorrow, Summoning, Wolves In The Throne Room, etc, has sucked me into an atmosphere so deep.

Has that kind of epic style sound of Stronghold by Summoning, with that same Tolkien themed atmosphere, I can see what they are trying to accomplish here, and it comes out well, credit to them it's pretty good album overall, but not quite on the same level as Summoning.
