Imperia - Begin Recording New Album
Imperia are forging their next offering! Finally, after a few years, the symphonic/gothic metallers are working on the follow-up to Secret Passion and the recordings have started. What do we know so far? The album is yet untitled, but will contain 11 tracks. The new Imperia opus will be released later this year through Massacre Records.
The drums and vocal recordings will take place in the Spacelab Studio in Germany. Imperia recorded the 2006 Queen Of Light album there, as well as the Angel album A Woman's Diary - Chapter I. Also drums for the previous Imperia album Secret Passion from 2011 were recorded at the Spacelab.
Singer Helena Iren Michaelsen has recorded some pilot tracks and vocals for two songs with the producer Christian "Moschus" Moos and next week drummer Steve Wolz will start with the drum recordings. The rest of the recordings and the mixing will take place in the following months.
