For me it reminds me of a more black metal-oriented, early-era Ævangelist with the way they implement the percussion and keyboards. Great stuff anyway.

It's good, I can definitely hear both Darkspace and early Aevangelist. More of the former tho.

I'm way more familiar with Darkspace (having seen them live) than I am with Ævangelist, so perhaps I lacked a bit of reference. But I'm fairly certain this is similar enough to Darkspace to warrant a comparison.
