This came out of nowhere, hadn't heard anything about a new album before I got a notification from Bandcamp this morning. On first listen (and it's a brief listen, at aroundd 30 mins it's on the EP/album border), it's got the signature Spaceslug melancholic psychedelia, quite in line with the Ahthmosphere song - doesn't have the new elements that they brought in on Memorial, and not a huge amount sticks out on first listen (although I like the heavier edge to "Delusions"), so probably won't go down as one of their best, but it's still a predictably pleasant listen

Not exactly groundbreaking but still a pretty solid release regardless, it has some pretty nice soundscapes anyway. "Delusions" is the stand-out track for me, but I oddly find the last track to have some slight Soundgarden vibes.

Not a particularly exciting or engaging release unfortunately. I'm not impressed by the songwriting. It isn't overall bad, just nothing to write home about. Very little is memorable.

I actually liked this pretty good, especially In Serenity. Definitely not their best work but still far from bad.
