Is it good? Indeed, it fills a hole that only Type O Negative could fill, seeing as how their sound was incredibly unique. This is not Type O, however. Once you start to look under the hood, the songwriting and attitude aren't quite there compared to the band that they're emulating. The production is great, which is an added plus. I'll be curious to see where this act goes. I personally hope they lean into creating their own sound with the great foundation they've set up for themselves.

With the main mastermind behind Spirit Adrift behind this project I expected something reasonably good, but not this good. This has to be one of my favorite gothic/doom releases this year. The songwriting, vocal performance, and overall sound quality is just just all top-notch stuff!

It's not Type O Negative, but it's pretty fucking close. Love it.
