Why since yesterday I need log in after when I go away, I dont close even browser, I have open 2 browswers MS and MA I dont close non, and when I come beck I refresh MS and I need log in, I have cookies log in method , whats going on? My account is hacked?

It's a bug It just happened to me now...

Yeah i mean the locked, how many month exactly?

I dont know can be year can be one, when staff deal whit it or wen you send forum report and say its been locked long ago shood be delited

No but you can edd it to favorite or use internet browing history

I see. Well, then is it possible admins to do something like that:

- I have noticed that after you post a message in the bottom page you see at the first place the same topic and part from Forum and then a similar ones. On the left side there are locations where those similar topics are, let's say Forum, Albums and so on.

Maybe if those locations(Forum, Albums etc.) are made like links pointing to their actual website locations users will be able to just 1 click getting back to exactly the same part of the Forum they were before posting.

I guess this can be very useful for people that mainly using Forum here @ MS. Still dunno is that easy to achieve or not so.

And while I can not create a new topic I can hope someone from the Staff will see this suggestion or I can try PM some of the admins to ask them this.

Do you mean the Similar Topics threads at the bottom of the page? You want, for instance, "General metal forum" and whatnot to be converted from standard font to links so you can click them to visit the general metal forum?

I am asking if it is possible that Similar Topics and even not all but just the first one that actually pointing at Forum to be made as a link. So when someone post somewhere at Forum he can easily go back exactly where he was.

Cause maybe it's my mistake not knowing a fast way to go back and when I write something I am using my browser's 'Back' button twice to get back or just using the link 'Forum' which is on the left menu.

Concerning the album search page, when you initially goto it, the albums are listed in order of release date descending, starting with the most recent release. However, when the results are filtered, the results are then ordered first by year and then by band name, not by actual release date any more. Is it possible to order filtered results by actual release date? I was hoping to try to see results sorted like the initial album page but also displaying invisible bands.

How do I add a day to a tour that is already created? I am going to see Cradle Of Filth on the Creatures From The Black Abyss tour tomorrow (Feb 22) in Columbus but whoever added the tour left this date out... I can only edit certain events on the tour, not add them. Thanks in advance.

I just added the day as a separate event, just named it the same thing.

Whats going on when I click to forums all part where is member online, staff online, navigation etc are gobe, but when I open some foum like this is beck, generaly its disapears in main forum page some 10min since now?
Is it bug?

So what are the rules for getng a band added so it can be updated? I have submitted a few bands recently and i know that typically there is a system where staff or someone with perms adds when enough people hit the + button but i have seen some bands that i hit the + button on and they were no where near 20 - 30 hits when they got added. do we just wait for someone to add the band eventually or can we message the band names to staffers and or ppl with band adding perms to get a suggested band added? the bands ive recently suggested, just in case im gona get a follow up question of "who are the bands youve submitted?", are:

There are no rules - as long as the band fits the site's criteria, they can be added. Sometimes when I have time I'll go through some of the suggestions and add a few bands here and there, regardless of + count. All the + count does is let me know how many people want to see that band added. 90% of users who give a +1 don't even have an interest in updating the band's biography, so I rarely pay attention to that stat.

Long story short, just be patient. We have more important things to do than go through 60 pages of suggestions to add everyone's obscure favorite bands in an attempt to rival Metal-Archives' roster. Metal Storm features nearly 6,000 bands. How that is not enough for people is beyond me.

The fact also remains that several (SEVERAL) suggested bands have yet to release a full-length album, have no current or prior label contract, and don't offer their information online to update their profile with anyway. If you REALLY want a band or two added, plead your case via PM and I'll check to see if said bands are worth adding. It's much easier to communicate with a user (at least for me) about adding a band to the site as opposed to rifling through dozens of pages for a notable name missing from our database.

If a band is on "indefinite hiatus" would that be counted as the band has disbanded and needs to be updated to reflect disbanded even though they are on hiatus or just leave their page reflecting as still together? the case in question being The Autumn Offering.

No. The same goes/went for System of a Down. The information regarding the hiatus can be included in the band's biography, but because they haven't officially disbanded, we count them as an active band on the site.

The best way to search for invisible-only bands is to search ALL bands and organize the list by either "year formed" (and hit the last page, that way you're only getting bands without a formed in date, so you know they won't be active) or categorize by band name, meaning you can also jump to specific pages in order to find a band you're looking for to update.
