Finally got a limited edition vinyl re-release of this album, and, after listening to it, I can say I forgot what a jewel it is! Yes, it is the most melodic and experimental Septicflesh record, which might not please every fan of the band. Still, in my opinion, Revolution DNA is an album without weak tracks. Beginning with Science and ending with Age Of New Messiahs, it takes you for one emotional ride with touching guitar melodies, hard riffs and vocal interchanges of Sotiris and Seth. Favourite tracks: Science, Little Music Box, Nephilim Sons, DNA, Telescope, Last Stop to Nowhere, Android.

Weird album. Definitely different for SF. Probably gets a higher rating if it's released by an industrial band.

It's a good album, but it doesn't have the dark atmosphere that Sumerian Daemons and onward have.

A great step-up from the experimental miss that was A Fallen Temple. It took me a while to get used to the alternative/gothic/industrial influences on this one but I appreciate the band¨s ambitions and songwriting. It feels like they were coming to terms with the dawn of the new millenium. "Little Music Box" for example sounds like a mix of Paradise Lost with Pink Floyd in the interlude. A really refreshing track that one. Something thast is easy to forget: The first 5 full lengths were released in a span of 5 years. That is FUCKING INSANE. Even though there were albums which I didn't find that good it is still astonishing how Septicflesh grew and developed throughout the years.
