After some melancholic fueled post rock. It's always fun to return to a bit of brutality. Chaos Inception has a new one coming in June and it souds like a goody.

Gotta keep post-whatever alive. This is a very interesting split between Dustbloom and Huldra. Dustbloom have some weird moments à la Fair to Midland but even more unpredicteble. Huldra seems to be the more dark atmo sludge type. A nice contrast.

new album "Gateways" from a band called Azioc. really good stuff. strong paracletus influence, but with overall death metal vibe. quality stuff. def worth checking out

The Rhinocervs label's untitled tapes. RH-13, for example. Same folks that have released Odz Manouk and Tukaaria splits, as well as Tukaaria's full-length (this means it's basically some of the best black metal currently being made). Same drill as Crepusculo Negro - influence from LLN, lo-fi, raw, primitive, mystical. Check it out.

They're alright, I found them to be kind of standard fair death/grind at first listen although I have been meaning to check them out a little more in depth since their "popularity" [to me] seems to stem mostly from that fact that the vocalist is a chick, same with Cerebral Bore (and Arch Enemy 12 years ago). I wonder if them and Cerebral Bore would be as "popular" as they are without the female vocalist "gimmick"...

Edit: So I finally got to check Abnormality out a little more in depth and they're pretty good, definitely sound better upon further listening. Still don't like Cerebral Bore though...
