At the graves?
lol
Ya, perhaps they named themselves after the King Diamond track?
Or they really like At The Gates.

07.07.2012 - 14:20 Written by Edmund Fogg on 07.07.2012 at 13:43 Huh, it was released in February, 6 months ago, and is one of the most talked-about doom albums of the year. Is it only now coming to some region, or something? Stellar album anyhow, it's grown on me from the initial "meh" reaction. The first three tracks are massive, though the last two start to drag a bit. You're probably going to like the three albums I linked above btw. Especially Earthen Grave is very refreshing.

Still haven't listened to that in full... might have to change that at some point. I remember listening to some kind of stream (whether or not it was for the entire album I can't recall) and after about two or three tracks I couldn't bring myself to bother with the rest. But that cover art makes me want to check it out again, so I'll at least get around to it before the end of the year.

10.07.2012 - 15:15 Written by The Turbanator on 10.07.2012 at 08:24 Recommending an album based on one track is a bit silly, isn't it? The released track is not even the album version.

10.07.2012 - 15:46 Written by Risto on 09.07.2012 at 16:58 Nice! This is great stuff, interesting vocals. Also that Ensiferum track would probably be better in the Ensiferum thread no? I mean who doesn't know that they are releasing a new album?

10.07.2012 - 15:55 Written by R'Vannith on 10.07.2012 at 15:46 The guys have some grunge in them which shows as big refrains thoughout the album. That mixes with jazzy atmosphere and various influences from the prog metal spectrum. These guys have great taste

10.07.2012 - 16:06 Written by Risto on 10.07.2012 at 15:15 What? It's not? I saw it in their official Facebook page. They posted it. Also, so many posts single tracks of upcoming albums in this and previous threads. Nothing is silly about it.

10.07.2012 - 16:17 Written by Risto on 10.07.2012 at 16:08 Yeah I know but it gives an idea of how their album is going to sound like. Anyway yeah you're right then. Should just wait for the proper thing to come out.

10.07.2012 - 17:02 Written by The Turbanator on 10.07.2012 at 08:24 Ya I don't think recommending an album based on one non-album version track kinda defeats the purpose of this thread. We should keep it to full albums that are actually released.

I was recommended this album in another thread and it's pretty good stuff. This song may not be entirely representative of my comparison but as a whole the album made me think of Terra Tenebrosa...

11.07.2012 - 01:54 Written by Troy Killjoy on 10.07.2012 at 17:02 Yeah I didn't know it was a non-album version track. It wrote there that it's the new single from the upcoming album. Oh well, sorry for all that.

Bah I often post samples of upcoming albums too. No big deal. And Psyko I already did post Necro Deathmort here, but the more they get visibility the better. Edit: That is just brilliant Doom. Bandcamp

Ya'll need to hook yourselves up with Elysian Blaze. Blackened funeral doom, and yeah it's just as fucking evil as the description implies. Brb, being possessed by Satan. Also, the new Serj album is really good, but you all knew that already.

It is along my personal best of 2012 so far... Speaking of wich I might have to start a list of my own.
