Sigh: the Pier Gerlofs Donia of extreme underwater basket-weaving, the Brough Superior SS100 of the 1805 Unspunnenfest, the Crank 2 of Tammany Hall, the Swabian Salute of double-corrugated, eight-fold, 14-gauge cardboard boxes. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but there's a little bit of everything - everything you didn't know you absolutely needed in a metal album.

I wanted to make fun of you but then I realised that in my early MS years I read the trivia page once I discovered a band. So I can't be sure how long it ould have taken me if I were in your Place.

Well, the G albums usually are. I think the I albums are the best in each cycle.

I thin Gallows Gallery is great not Amazing though.... Let's not even talk about the Ghastly Funeral Theatre EP which is one of their best things they've one.

Yeah, I just prefer the Is in each cycle. Hmm, I think I might actually put them in the same order each cycle: IHSG. Haven't heard the 2nd S, though.

OK I exaggerated in my post above - everything from track 4 onwards is high-8 or 9/10 material. That section at 1:18 on the first track should be vaporized from existence though. Just listen to it. It's so bad. Everything about it...is wrong. How did they write the rest of the album so magnificently, then screw up to such a monumental degree.

This 8 year old comment haunts me every time I listen to that song, this is literally my favorite moment in the whole album hahaha

The thought of someone listening to that section and the comment "should be vaporised from existence" intrusively entering their brain is painfully hilarious, but I swear to not getting any schadenfreude from it

I did listen to it again to see if I was just being edgy...but no, I stand by the comment word-for-word
