Other versions (or at least other promotional material) have other dead animals (I saw a rat and a crow).
Dunno, probably symbolizes death or something. CHVE said before how most men in his family died before they were 40 and he's getting close. I hear it's also supposed to be more sorrowful than before. So the times of obsessions (that's what the teeth symbolize, biting and not letting go) seem to have ended and mourning starts.

So I've listened to it a few times now and it's currently on par with Mass III for me. Excited to see basically any full song on this live at some point.

Second only to that Sunrot album tea[m]ster shared with me. Superb.

Amenra's style doesn't change much from album to album. Although the first two are pretty raw by comparison. I'd say you can go backwards in time.

Mass V is soooo good.

Great album, but this one song is just next level, I haven't heard anything before Mass IIII, but from what I've heard this one song feels like their masterpiece, really breathtaking achievement

Somehow the annoying vocals (first time checking out this band) distract me from the great post metal album that it could have been IMHO.
