Hey, it's been a while since I actively listened to 2017 albums! But this local band in my city astounded me with this album: https://oceanicmuzak.bandcamp.com/ It might be a little too djenty for your tastes, but I personally think it manages to be more progressive than anything. There's probably a smidge of post in there as well. Very entertaining stuff.

EDIT: I think this album could easily end up in my top 5 of the year. Solid, unique, diverse and satisfying.
