Yeah, this sounds quite great to me. The dude has a beautiful clean voice (I know him more for his growls as the live vocalist for death metal band Graveyard).

Their previous stuff is not like this. Foscor started out as a BM band that progressively incorporated more progressive elements. I'd say that if you work your way back through their discography, you will see a degression towards classic BM, as this is almost devoid of any of it.
I'm not the greatest expert on the band though that is how I remember them (for example, their previous effort sounds like this with more predominant extreme metal elements in riffing and vocals).
