Angelcrypt - Split With Drummer
Maltese death thrashers Angelcrypt announce the departure of their long-time drummer Robert Friggieri. Paul Formosa, who played drums on the Dawn Of The Emperor album, will be stepping in temporarily.
Statement from Angelcrypt: "Dear fans and friends, with a heavy heart, we wish to announce the departure of our drummer, Robert Friggieri. Over the past few years, Robert has been an integral part of our band, bringing not only his incredible talent but also his vibrant spirit to every show. We have shared countless unforgettable moments touring abroad, and we are so grateful for the time we've spent together. We love him like a brother and wish him every success in his future endeavours.
"In light of Robert's departure, we are excited to announce that our official session drummer, Paul Formosa, who played drums on the Dawn Of The Emperor album, will be stepping in temporarily. Paul has already recorded drums on the new single, the title and artwork of which we will be announcing soon. He did a fantastic job, and we’re sure you’ll love what you hear! We want to reassure you that our scheduled European tour for 2025 remains intact and will proceed as planned.
"As we move forward, we are actively searching for a new full-time drummer to join our family of madness. We are looking for a fun, outgoing individual who is not only skilled at playing drums but also ready to hit the road with us. We welcome applications from foreign drummers as well!
