I usually go into a album listen without any expectations. In cases like this however with a band that hasn't released anything in ages and the line-up is totally different I almost always expect a disaster. Maybe it was a good choice to have very low expectation as I find this to be pretty good.. does it sound like the Leatherwolf of old? Nah. Yet it's still a strong record with cool guitar riffs and strong chorus hooks, every song has something going on for it. The thing that annoys me the most is that it would be even better with Olivieri on vocals.
