I think the medium K comment is actually quite funny.

To K7's defense, the best way to improve at writing a language and mastering spelling and grammar is by doing exactly what he's doing - posting.
As you know, K7, it's good that you keep writing - as Lord TJ has said, we do find out what you mean in posts whether sooner or later.

I'm not trying to be mean, it just really tickled my funny bone. It's obvious that he's pleasantly surprised that the event's taking place, and is just saying that although he won't be there, he's glad to know that perhaps they'll be other similar events he can attend, and that it shows that there is more coverage in his area, but as a stand alone quote it sounds like such a funny level of enthusiasm for something he won't be taking part in.
