Everything from MTV, I really can't stand that shit, the biggest shits are music from R'n'B and HipHop 'musicians', don't get me wrong I don't have nothing against rap and hip hop but those shits on MTV (Nelly, Ja Rule, Shagy...) have nothing with real rap music. From metal probably everything by Nightwish, Sirenia, Norther and Six Feet Under. I fucking hate those bands.

I heard this band called Rival Schools, horrible shit.

Eh yeah I agree with you there, U2 really aggravates me especially Bono's voice. And the thing is U2 fans are so into them, they assume that everyone else likes them too... I've had people look at me with shock and disbelief when I reveal to them my dislike for U2! (at least I don't go around assuming that everyone else in the world must like metal!)

@TombstoneHighway: Yep...with songs like Hollaback Girl, she's really falling into a pit of crap...

I can't stand this "trendy" wave of "indie" bands which are arising in Britains mainstream at the moment.

Bands like the Arctic Monkeys, Fratellis, Klaxons, Kasabian, etc etc (there seems to be hundreds of them and they all use exactly the same formula in their songs... They're practically boybands with instruments... :S)

My most hated song ever is that "Eternal flame" song, you know "close your eyes take my ha-aaand.....", ugh, they play it at the supermarket I work in which has only increased the hate XD

Oh yes that chavvy "Chelsea Dagger" song by aforementioned Fratellis is the epitome of ghastly too.

Come on, Klaxons are quite good, very energetic. Arctic Monkeys may really be overrated but calling them boybands with instruments doesn't do them any justice.

I don't care much about this kind of music but I like these bands still a lot more than average metal bands. Of course I don't have to hear radio and I guess this kind of music would get annoying really fast.


The only musician I really hate is Celine Dion. When some pop stars like Madonna at least have some personality, she is like a tasteless jelly that has come from a planet inhabited by sexless creatures.
"My Heart Will Go On" (if that was its name) is the epitome of bad music.

Hmm yeah I guess that was an exaggeration there, but I still think this new wave of bands pale compared to their predcessors in good old 90's Britpop (Radiohead, Blur, The Verve... et al) and it just feels like they are copying each others sounds in a desperate attempt to become Radio 1 darlings...

I dunno I guess it's the overrated factor and the uber-trendy fanbase (I'm bad for discriminating against the latter admittedly) which makes me dislike them but yeah those type of bands are kind of.... Nerve grating... If boybands was an exaggeration, then maybe "pop" instead of "rock" or "indie" (many people consider them this) XD, All IMO of course.

Couldn't agree more with Celine Dion though BTW, and that song, err, "ewws me up" big time... Fear my grasp of English! XD

all so-called EMO - Tokio Hotel, My Chemical Romance, 30 Seconds to Mars etc...since the first few seconds you know it will be an "emo-song" - all are same, just with another lyrics, made without any lust of some progress...just the same "tested" and successful style developed to impress 13 years old girls...
