Personally, I have no quarrels with someone being gay, or even bisexual for that matter. To each his own. They are not the monsters that religions make them out to be. They walk, talk, and think just like anyone else, and they have a great plethora of ideas to contribute to society. They are also just as intelligent as everyone else, and they have the same concerns and worries as any other person. As a real life example, my mother's hair dresser (who is also my hair dresser, which explains why my hair is so beautiful) is gay, but he is quite the upstanding fellow, and is quite intelligent. In short, I greatly respect the gay community and I wish to see them claim the same rights as everyone else.
Discussion starts... now.

Have any one seen the movie called Shortbus!? That's good for homosexual people. I don't like homosexuality. I never can think that fell in love with a boy! oh, I hardly fell in love with girls too ... Those who do this for fun, I think they are alright, but those who want to make love are special. and I don't like such special things!!

30.06.2008 - 22:39 Written by BloodTears on 30.06.2008 at 09:30 Jeje, Thanks you It's impossible to make every person accept homosexuality. Every one has their own reasons [some stupid ones maybe [but they're still reasons that counts]. I think I don't care so much because I lived in a way that teached me that homosexuality wasn't something important. [My uncle is gay and so is one of my best friends.] I can't judge others for hating gays or because they're not open-minded [somehow I never liked that word, anyway...] The way you live your life and the people around you make your own moral. I have to accept that I have some problems with gay people. Maybe not with them, But I really don't like males tat speak-dress-act like a woman... The sames goes to females that seems more man than me. If you're man... and gay. Fuck, deal with that! You don't need to speak funny...

Thats my justification for the reason why people try to be something else, or maybe they just don't know what they are. I'm lucky to know exactly what I am but other people seem to be very confused about it all. I'm not trying to change people's opinion (although that would be nice lol). I'm just saying that I would've expected society to evolve towards that, thats all.

Obviously, I have nothing against anybody, so long as they don't hurt or harm others, no matter who they are. Therefore, I don't care if one is gay, lesbian or whatever, I prefer "judging" people basing on what they do, not by their sexual preferences

Every man has the right to choose. I have no issues with the idea of homosexuality, as long as they don't appear in public spaces making out, holding hands etc. It doesn't appeal disgusting nor repulsive to me. I just sense a bit of discomfort. Even though I live in the 21st century... it's not enough.

Most people there were straight looking/acting funnily enough. Sometimes the stereotype doesn't fit. It's not like with blacks, amirite?

01.07.2008 - 22:21 Written by Hyvaarin on 25.11.2007 at 14:03 well to me at least, i don't like how it sounds because it sounds too much like "i was born to play the guitar/be an actor/whatever".. but that's just me as for the homophobia thing: i got over it in the most cliche way possible, i found out that Halford was gay and that freaked me out a bit, but as i grew to love Judas Priest i got over it. of course this is partly because he isn't as much of a drama queen as most homo's, or people who seem gay(Mika for example). of course if someone told me he was gay(knowing the person for a while) i'd give him a weird look and stuff but i'll eventually get over it(i have absolutely nothing wrong with lesbianism, hell, my sister could be a lesbian and i don't care one bit. it's certainly not as disturbing for guys as gay-ism is) what annoys me though is the HUGE homophobia problem that there is here: there were 2 guys in my former class who everytime the subject was brought into discussion they said something like "HOMOSEXUALITY IS AGAINST NATURE AND I'D KILL THEM ALL ALL GAYZ MUST DIE LOLOLOL!!" and allow absolutely NO other opinion... one of them even said he would beat up and disown his son if he found out he was gay. 18 year old dinosaurs

I want things to chance, change their opinion but somehow I don't because everyone has the right to think whatever they want. But its about human beings, people aren't as sensitive to murders as they are to gays. Ok extreme comparison but its true.

well i'm not sure that's the case... it's seeming to me that they are gradually building excuses to intervene. a hundred years ago other countries would not interfere without wanting an excuse to take over the country (e.g. the british empire) pathetic things such as "they're not civilisaed, they need us to take control so we can teach them how to live their lives better" when they really wanted the gold or wahtever wtf??? Anyway, Iraq was done for the exact same reasons (oil this time) but many if not most were duped into thinking it was for the good reason bush came up with, i.e. chemical weapons. If there's something a country wants in Zimbabwe they'll use the same method again that's been used for thousands of years iof "bettering" the country their invading. Otherwise it could simply be that some of these governments still believe that iraqs invasion really WAS for the good of the nation and invade zimbabwe for that reason alone... which is betetr but still a difficult one to justify when cultures are so different. However... i definately agree he needs to be taken out of power, i think assassination of him and his hencmen is a better idea! haha back on topic... i have no problem. i kiss girls al the time messing around. guys can do what they want, it's a shame when a good looking one likes men though! haha

I'm bisexual and I first started to like guys when i was about 13 or 14. For about 6 years i considered myself bisexual but mostly straight but since I've started to go to gay clubs with a friend, I've liked guys more and more and now like both about equally. Does this mean that there is some control over homosexuality or that it can be considered learned behaviour to some degree or in some cases? Another way in which homosexuality may be learned: Suppose you're a straight male and watch porn and have a bit of a fetish for being dominated. You may watch an internet clip of gay porn out of curiosity and seeing a guy take the err... "female role" (for lack of a better term) might turn you on as women are naturally more submissive during sex. So in this way it could be learned behaviour and you could be "turned". I know the argument here could be that the person already had some homosexual leanings that they hadn't considered before but i don't think this is necessarily the case. Perhaps straight people could also become bisexual because they are aroused by heterosexual sex and the similarities between that and gay sex could mean they still find it arousing. I also think that the gap between the two is somewhat bridged by feminine guys. I tend to like my men to be men and my women to be women and see it as two seperate sex lives but sometimes feminine guys arouse me in the wrong kind of way if you see what I mean. The one thing i want to know is why people could possibly have anything against homosexuality. People seem to be somewhat disgusted by it and then try to look for an acceptable way of disliking it but the only reasons i've seen people claim are either that it's "not natural" (what is natural? if homosexuality is "unnatural" why doe it make it morally wrong?) or out of mindless traditionalism (usually on the topic of gay marriage.

@ Starchild: I agree with the first two points of your comment. But strongly disgree with the last one. I'm don't see any kind of problem by any mean with being homosexual. But biologically and socially isn't the same thing. Is biologically wrong because it was meant for us to reproduce ourselves in a male-female way. And that's it. It has nothing to do with social issues. @Tom: I'm with you... I don't have a clue to why people are against homosexuality. It can be quite hard to see for some people because they lived in a different enviroment. I agree with the "normal thing" Nothing is anormal... As far as there's a reason [as tiny as it could be] to do something... everything is normal IMO.

At least THAT is what people usually mean. Because gens, if it has something to do with your sexuality... something that I don't believe, usually don't make a kangaroo white or a child with two asses. Same goes to sexuality [once again... IF it works like that]. And that has a special name in Science... "Fail"... The gens worked in a WRONG way, so to speak. I know that doesn't sound very nice and I agree with you in that matter. But that's the way Science express itself I guess. If this just doesn't work... Then I suggest you to don't give a shit and give the middle finger to the world... It works for me at least

08.09.2008 - 23:18 Written by ~Starchild~ on 08.09.2008 at 23:06 well i too used to think that homosexuality is unnatural because we were meant to spread and reproduce, but the fact is, if people REALLY want a baby, they can adopt(gay men couples) or lesbians could get artificially inseminated or just find some guy to fuck. also there are hetero people who don't want a child, does that mean they're "unnatural"? that their brains are wired wrong or something? hell no. we're not living in the stone age anymore, when to ensure that a future actually existed, people should create offspring, now they're everywhere, orphanages are overcrowded and there are mothers(if they deserve to be called like that) who abandon their child in nursing homes etc. so we're NOT in a shortage of babies, thank the gods for that.
