Ivan, i've recently experienced that with all non-english characters...Using IE and Unicode encoding.

There is no set amount. Every once in a while a Staff member goes over the list and handles a couple of suggestions (rejects/accepts).

It can take anywhere from a few days to a long time. We have a lot of edits to go through, simple as that. This isn't our day job so naturally it's not something we spend all our free time doing. It will get done when it gets done.

Depending on how busy we are, it can take anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of months to get through the amount of pending edits. Reviews, events, and news tend to get accepted a lot faster based on how easy it is to find the information online.

Band profiles (discogs, line-ups, etc.) are much harder because 90% of editors source Metal-Archives and Wikipedia so it takes extra time to look for official sources, making an already long process that much longer. Basically the more information you provide, and the more concrete the evidence you give, the quicker your edit will be accepted.

Thanks for your answers. I myself used to do staffduty's for events for a Dutch site and I know how busy it can get, especially when users give very little amounts of information. I didn't mean to critice or something like that, I was just wondering how long it usually takes and if something went wrong with the event.

No offense taken - I just thought I'd clarify on top of what Doc already said about pending edits, that there is a reason they take time (but obviously you know that, so I'm preaching to the choir).

I see a lot of pics in this website and they have a decent size but the pics I try to upload always look weird. Could anyone help me with this? I have a normal pic, I resized it but it still looks either too small or too big to post on my profile. There must be a trick.

You guys know of any bands or songs, I guess themed on cowboys, or the wild west? (I read alot about cowboys and stuff so Id like to listen to more songs along the lines of WASP's Blind in Texas and the Wild West era) Thanks

they dont resize automatically which is a shame. But yeah I'll try to figure it out, it would just be easier if someone would tell me cuz i wouldn't have to look for it.
