Maybe he's been preparing this for a while?

Could have been preparing it anyway, as a "get well soon" album, which sadly had to turn into a tribute one.

Alternatively, he's not having to write any new material (barring the song for Ronnie James), and he's got a talented band backing him up, so it could very well be a case of going in the studio in a couple of days, getting it all down, then using the rest of the time to mix and master it.

His ability in this album is amazing.... But, this album seems that Jorn was waiting for the Dio's death... It seems Jorn wants to earn money using Dio's reputation in my opinion....

I'm not so sure about this. According to various things people have said on the internet (if my memory serves me right); He had this album planned for over a year prior to Dio passing away and as fate would have it, the album turned out to be a tribute after his death instead of one while he was alive. I wouldn't personally know, but for some reason I highly doubt he'd be like that. If you've ever heard any of Jørn's solo albums you'd know he was and still is very influenced and touched by Dio's music. Not just vocally but in the lyrics, melodies, guitar-riffs, etc... Plus if he really was that much of a money-hungry person by nature (he would have to be in order to prepare such a cold-hearted marketing move almost right away), he would probably have done something different alltogether instead of getting into the Metal-scene (that's what Jørn himself had to say in an interview about making money from doing music), as it's hardly the right place to earn the big bucks (unless you're breaking through into the mainstream or topping the charts, that is). I'm not attacking you. No, no far from it! I'm just offering a friendly view on this. But then again, who knows. You could be right. However that'd be rather unfortunate, because if this is the case then Jørn is a nasty human being.

I agree about his abillity, the spirit of Dio lives through in every note! IMO, If this had been a new regular studio-album it would have been the very best Jorn material so far!

From what I've heard you are right about this being a tribute record that was in the making for a year or so. Jørn's son even stated that Lande wished to show this record and the "Song for Ronnie James" to Dio while he still lived, but as chance would have it Dio left this world and Jørn lost his idol just as a lot of others did. Jørn has gotten different critics for this record, but I think it was a really nice thing to do. Would not you liked to do something for your fav artist alive or dead?

I totally agree. If this is indeed the case, then that is simply great.
