It's my second favorite album by them.

This was the first album I heard by Arch Enemy, and it still remains my favourite by them today. The twin guitar melodies and harmonies are just out of this world, and many of the riffs simply crush. And "The Immortal" is just a stunning opening track. xD

Not quite as effective as their first two albums in my opinion, but the musicianship and quality of the songs are still very good indeed.

Classic in my eyes. Best by Arch Enemy and the only Liiva's album where he really shines (Not that I'm a big fan of Gossow, I think her only very good performance was on Wages of Sin.) But Amotts were the real stars here - really killer guitar work on this one.

Much better than Stigmata , this time Arch Enemy metamorphosed to a more melodious and more polished version.The vocal is tolerable this time and more high-pitched which sounds much better to me.The whole package is only ok and not a masterpiece to be honest but surely helped them to stay in the field of competition with other giants.

This is quite possibly my absolute favorite from them, every single track here is great, my very favorite being "Angelclaw", although the new version of "fields of desolation" is very close to it, definitely a great release

Still the best AE album to date, this will never be surpassed. top 2 is Stigmata and 3 is Wages of Sin.
