Have you ever wondered what Pink Floyd would sound like if they were playing Grindcore? Well your answer is right here waiting for you, ¡T.O.O.H.! (The Obliteration Of Humanity) a Czech groundbreaking band with really incredible tunes, out of this world riffing, catchy drum-beats, and generally speaking overwhelming music.
The great thing about this release (Pod Vladou Bice) is the unbelievable songwriting. The album features a major quantity of amazing guitar solos that go along with the drum-beats, and those drum-beats go along perfectly with the bass-lines and so on?so these Czech guys really know what they are doing, and they do it the best way possible. The music sounds refined and polished, this way we know for sure that this guys used a lot of their time thinking and writing and doing who knows what to achieve the greatness of this album.
I don't know how deep this guys are (Lyrically), I do not understand what they are talking about, all the lyrics are written in Czech so about their deep minds I cannot write, just check this "Aura a Ziata. Dìvèata to k pohledání. V?ak støeste se jich vy chlípní páni." If anyone can decipher those lyrics please shout. But at least we know these Czechs are very intelligent and incredibly smart when it comes to music, so I don't care that much about the lyrics this time.
So, as I was saying, this guys are Pink Floyd transformed into Grindcore. Every track in this album has a lot of progression, complex solos, acoustic intros, the best drumming I've heard in Grindcore (not fast as diarrhea, but catchy and still aggressive), some obligated riffs and so on; there's one special song that will show you the madness and complexity of this band, "Ja Je Proto Proti," again the lyrics mean nothing to me but the music is marvelous, these guys broke the envelope of Grindcore and made a really long track (10 minutes sharp) wrapping the song with an insane amount of progressions, a lot of complex layers, amazing bridges, some crazy pauses, and of course violent and catchy music. "Ja Je Proto Proti" is one of the best songs I've heard in a really long time, and I am sure every Metalhead will for sure love this track due to the fact is encrusted with not only Grindcore but Progressive Metal and some other genres. I assure you this song is something you haven't heard before, at least not lately.
I highly recommend this release to every Metal fan, there is too much greatness in this album and you will find a lot of unforgettable moments, believe me, from the incredible catchy drumming to the awesome shrieking vocals, all mixed up with complex acoustic intros and layered progressions, this album is a masterpiece for sure, go for it, go for it now.
