Children Of Bodom - Announce Australian Tour Dates


Finnish metallers Children Of Bodom have announced that the group will be heading to Australia in November for a string of tour dates in support of their latest studio album, Relentless Reckless Forever. Supporting Children Of Bodom on the trek will be Australian band Voyager.

The tour dates are as follows:

November 6 - Capitol - Perth
November 7 - HQ - Adelaide
November 10 - The Palace - Melbourne
November 12 - The Big Top - Sydney
November 13 - The Arena - Brisbane

That makes sense, even though I've never heard of the supporting band. What you're saying is if "CoB" still had balls, this would be a legit tour/touring with a potentially legit melodeth band to make this tour make sense hahaha. Unless I'm gravely mistaken.

MS your too slow, if i hadn't of been watching the updates on the tour i would i have missed out on the tickets. Anyway should be a good night, the last album is one of their best and is a step back in the right direction.

I mean, if people won't take the time to analyze their compositions or to read ylside's article from a few years ago, they can at least use this as a reliable sign that CoB's music is rooted in power[-thrash] metal, not death. Voyager's one of Aus's most pre-eminent melodic metal bands, and there is no reason CoB would be touring with them if they weren't playing in a somewhat similar subgenre. Unless of course, if Voy's the only active metal band available in the country, but c'mon - how likely is that to be the case?
