I don't think it sounds that much different to their "signature style", other than it's more raw, and has a real primal brutality to it. I guess the main way in which it differs from most of their other stuff, is the lack of atmospherics, it's just straight for the jugular stuff. You can say that again... I think it must be because of the clocks going back at 2am over here.

Very good album. I prefer ....For victory and Warmaster, because they are more consistent, dont have many boring tracks. But still: I grew up with this album. Highlights: title track and celestial sanctuary

Just ordered a vinyl copy of the full dynamic range edition from Earache. The silver color was sold out so had to settle with black, but that's only a minor complaint.

A Bolt Thrower classic, not the best by them but still supurb! and far better than most Death Metal albums I've listened to. It has great riffs as usual, and I like the war themed lyrics they do, this is proberbly my favourite album cover by them too. Celestial Sanctuary, Where next to conquer, This time its war, and The IVth Crusade are among my favourites.
