I was wondering why you have deleted LSM from your previous list and this seems to be the answer. Many bands I have to look into.

Ken Mode seems like a curious choice for a list like this. Otherwise, most of these I haven't heard.

I'm all for more lists by you, but this one seems a tad too similar to your hardcore list.

It all sounds like music I'd hate. But the band and album titles (e.g Kowloon Walled City, Guantanamo Party Program, I Have Lived Like An Animal and Judas Goats And Diesel Eaters) have me intrigued.
I will try some of it out as a result...
Black Mask EP.
Indeed I really don't see you liking all of this a lot. I do have thrashy/more conventional hardcore or crossover in my purse if you want some.
But hey if you liked Black Mask, there's hope .

I actually took out all the albums from that list and put them here, so that I can later on have more distinct lists sorted by style, without having the same albums on all of them. I just created it yesterday and I was too tired to add all the ones I have chosen, I'm doing that right now.

I actually did Ctrl+F "sludge" on my other list and imported everything that was highlighted without really looking, serves me right, I shouldn't make lists at 3 am .

Took me a few days to get to this. Real nice, real nice. As I haven't been working much on this list since I created it, which I am ashamed of, I'll put in the list of strong candidates until it grows on me.

Here's some cool sludge from the same label as Grey Widow, but it's slightly better in my opinion

I kinda had forgotten about this list until the SB shout and your comment. I should update it. Also I never got to tell you that Algoma thing was cool, I'll add it. I'm listening to Cult Of Occult now.

Hehe yeah I am aware of this, very good recommendation. Have you seen the video that they released with it? Here. It's simple but I loved how it started.
I haven't updated this or the other list in a while, but when I do, this will find its way in one or the other, thanks for the reminder .

Good to hear! The video was indeed very simple, but I found it rather emotive as well

Yeah, this is definitely the kind of stuff I need more of after you got me on Corrupt Moral Altar last year. Only things I really recognize on here are Lovesexmachine, The Secret, and Yautja, who I discovered when they played Southern Darkness Fest last year, but I'm sure there are many more goodies to be discovered. I'll be keeping an eye on this one

I wouldn't be surprised if you found a few of these good indeed. I'd say start with Eibon (blackened sludge/doom), you can't hate it that's for sure.

Huh, I always considered The Secret to be grindcore with sludge/black sound thrown into it, not the other way around.
Not that it actually matters. They are sick. That's is more important.

I think Fistula could be a good addition here... pretty good stuff, I've been getting into them a lot lately as they replaced Lord Mantis at Roadburn. I don't listen to much hardcore, as you know, so I'm not sure where exactly the line between sludge and hardcore is really drawn with them, but I do think they can be classified as some sort of sludgecore.

Dogs For Breakfast play a pretty sweet mixture of hardcore and sludge, though the sludge elements are the most prominent in my opinion (hence my recommendation here rather than on your other list). Really cool shit, you should check it out over here
