Recently added I see. Cool album, I am guilty of not listening to it enough.

I'm sure mz will echo my sentiments when he sees it but I didn't like this album at all. Just sounded a bit like a mess to me.

Yes. Didn't like this at all, which is odd for me I initially liked the single they had, but the impression faded away too fast. Pyrrhon, Barring Teeth and Psychogenic Atrophy put better albums with similar musical concept ( though this latter one is not much death metal).

This is one of those albums that seems to be on 99% of the "End Of Year" lists that simply does not warrant the praise.

That's not exactly a good argument. Some lists are good, some aren't. Some deserve to be in those lists, some don't. Personally I wouldn't put it in mine, but certainly I wouldn't dismiss an album because I saw it on an end of the year list.

That's not what I meant. I was simply stating that I don't particularly like the album, and as such, don't think it should be in these top of 2014 lists

Never actually caught this one, but I have seen a lot of praise for it. I'll have to give it a shot.

One of the biggest growers I've heard in a while. Definitely one of my favorites from last year

Lol @ this having a 7.8. It was one of the best albums of 2014 by a long stretch. The MS crowd is too busy gathering in masturbatory circles filled with hoaky melodeath albums to give this thing a solid couple spins.

Pretty good. They have probably listened to Mastodon's Blood Mountain.

A very fitting example of the style. But the last two songs are too big. A tech death song shouldn't be more than 3minutes if it doesn't have something different to offer.
