Based on the pattern of their releases so far, we can expect the follow-up to Coherence in 2027, offering plenty of time in which to enjoy Be'lakor’s latest beast of a record.

Love it. Definitely their best and also stands as one of the better melodeath albums I've heard. Plenty of amazing moments in every track, and it's so consistent I can't pick a favourite.

After three years of listening to it.
It's ironic that it's called Coherence, because it's their most incoherent record. Something is missing, and it makes it feel poorly sewn together. So much effort and craftsmanship has been put into each part, and yet. There's so many shifts and turns, and most of them are so hard to justify, that it just becomes disengaging. It's sad, because the ambition was great, and musicianship is top notch, as always. It could be a monstrous album, an absolute killer, on par with Winter's Gate or even more. But.

This album, more than the rest of their discography, really benefits from a full run listening session with focused attention. I don't find it works as well broken up or in the background, because it doesn't work hard to grab your attention.

Instead I enjoy the atmosphere and journey throughout the album. It's not perfect, but the real songs are all very good and the interludes work fine when it's listened to in this manner. Prior albums have more standout tracks that grab your attention and work great as singles, but I think this one still does very well as an overall experience. It's a different kind of album from their others, which I think drives some of the criticism.

It's different but still of the same quality we've come to expect from the band. No way is this a worse record than Frail Tide (which I do love) and I think it's at least on par with Vessels overall, even if Vessels has the standout tracks.
