I remember watching this compilation on a local store some time ago. I almost bought it considering it's a rare release from the legendary Painiac Records but then I remembered that I don't support that vinyl shit.

Fortunately this compilation is also available on CD. Great demos.

That's interesting, surprising even, I've known someone else feel vinyl that same way elsewhere. Then again I'm on the less is more, aesthetics above all view of collecting. Man, what I would do to have that trippy af art of Voidwards be the size enough to consume my head.

It's just not worth it for me. Too expensive and the "analog sound from vinyl" argument doesn't convince me at all. I would love to see a reissue for Voidwards, however.

Yeah, I just fucking love art. and I get where you're coming from as each media has its own adjustments required to commit with. Buy what you like man. As a collector towards other things if you couldn't tell already (certain fantasy franchise lol) there wouldn't be a drive if things were easy to get, which in itself is to a metaphor for obtaining anything seriously desired in life which may seem arbitrary but I'm a quality over quantity person. Coming from a once core CD owner, to planning my top wants few years back luckily there isn't a lot of 10's I want to own and I only want to own the best, in all renditions in a refined fashion. Pazzyzz's Best Shit list really spoke something to me about having a refined, less is more idea.

With that said there are plenty of copies of Voidwards on discogs etc, etc but I can guess your view on that but I agree about a reissue either way.

Bad English

To old for news in MS but I can inform it here

Cool release coming up from the Off The Record label.
We knew these recordings existed, but we didn't have them anymore and neither did the studio. This was recorded as a promo for our record label.
Substantially different versions, sounding more rough and live.
Featuring Tjeerd de Jong (Stone In Egypt/Phantom Druid/Demon Lodge) on bass.
