This is a band I had forgotten about but I know I liked their previous albums quite a lot. I like the concept here of giving Ancient Egyptian gods a song each. It's not only Nile who can make great Ancient Egypt related metal. Musically this is the kind of progressive death/metalcore I really like. Very enjoyable album.

Ooh this sounds interesting! I'm always on the lookout for Egyptian or any oriental-sounding metal

Also not progressive metal, it's djent-metalcore, progressive metalcore, math-metal maybe.

I thought the two primary purposes for the internet were cat memes and overreactions.

Progressive metalcore/progressive death metal would probably be the best suited genre tags.

Oh man, I totally feel you on that! It's like stumbling upon a treasure chest of nostalgia when you rediscover a band you used to dig.
