Ministry - Begin Work On Final Album, Reuniting With Paul Barker
Following Al Jourgensen's announcement from last February when he said that Ministry would be retiring after one more album, the long-running industrial metal band recently confirmed via social media that they have officially begun work on the follow-up to last March's Hopiumforthemasses. Due out sometime in 2025, the record see Ministry reunited with Paul Barker, who was the band's multi-instrumentalist from 1986 to 2003.

Paul Barker is a key member for some of Ministry's best albums though. So there is hope for a decent swan song if they truly commit to it.

AmeriKKKant was pure tripe, but Moral Hygiene and HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES were decent. If their “final” album is the same quality It’ll be a good enough swansong. Assuming the retirement sticks of course.
