Lucky Thir13n? Yeah. Lucky is pretty apt. Lucky for them someone actually invested in their completely forgettable music. March Of The Young is even jaw-droppingly forgettable by radio rock standards. Seriously, Lucky Thir13n put the six extra 'o's in boooooooring.

Oh boy, is finding an entire sentence to describe this guys a tough task, don't get me started on how difficult trying to write an entire 250 words is going to be. It's quasi hard rock with a pop punk sort of overtone, cram packed full of "I-started-this-band-last-week" type riffing. Once again, this is not the type of shit that's even interesting to laugh at. It's the type of shit that makes double checking bank audits for office supply company seem like a comparatively exciting task. There's no challenge, no drive, no risk. Hell, it's not even enjoyable in that poppy, guilty pleasure sort of way. To put things in perspective, there's more ingenuity found in Lady Gaga's music (and that ain't much).

There's one track, one single track where they try to do something that isn't unbearably dry. "Rivers Run Dry" shows a slightly more aggressive front in the guitar work, and they even bring in some guy to do really bad harsh vocals. Standing alone this track would probably be considered horrendous at best, but in relativity to the rest of the album, it's a much needed breath of fresh air. The funny thing is it sounds completely incongruous sitting there in between those numbing little power ballads. It's its own kind of ugly.

In 1983, Atari had so many unsold copies of ET The Extra Terrestrial video game that they decided to dig a big hole, dump the multiple truck-loads of said video game into said hole, then pave a parking lot over top of it. March Of The Young really deserves a similar fate.
