have read the Hobbit and LotR 10 times, the Silmarillion 3 times ... too many distortions to the original lore to ignore in Rings of Power

10 years ago, I had about 100 albums on my iPod, and that's all I was listening to, changing it once in a while. Now I have access to millions of albums on Spotify, and my mind always wants something new..

I often wonder whether it's really the music that's less memorable or out attention span that has diminished .. ?

I'm not so sure that it's a lack of memorability, but rather oversaturation... I remember back in the days when I started listening to metal, everything was new, fresh and exciting

Modern metal lacks memorability.
