One of the major phone services went down a few months ago. for an entire day, people using optus couldn't use cashless payments

Obviously payment methods shouldn't be discriminated against and there are a lot of good arguments pro cash, but I'm really happy without it.

I've been living a completely cashless life since Google Pay was released. Wouldn't go back. Germany isn't fully there yet, especially restaurants and bars, but we're getting there.

Can't even remember when I carried actual cash on me.

The Swedish krona is also a very weak currency so we could definitely go for the euro.

Here in Sweden they even changed all the bills and most of the coins in 2016 because they needed to be "modernized". Nowadays most stores don't even take cash and I know many tourists/foreigners complain about it.

It's just rdiculous that there are still countries in the EU that haven't adopted the Euro yet. That was also true for the UK but we all know how that went.
