Yes it is old school death but with a touch of atmospheric and melodic parts and solos are also great which creates a good death metal atmosphere overall. i have listened the whole discography and i think the band has just found the right formula with this album and they should definitely go from this direction. "the nihilistic nothigness" is a bit different yet tasty/refreshing. also some of the favorites are sky burial, the nightbreed, blood oath, my trial.
