Decent background atmospheric black metal, but never really engages beyond interspersed tempo changes that unfortunately don't build into much of anything. It sounds like a collection of incomplete ideas based on the familiar concept of material already released for years by so many other bands. The production is great though -- not too grainy, and just enough for the guitars to hum and buzz and the drums to pound away with only a slight cushioning effect.

Perfect description. Not very groundbreaking but a nice listen when you're in a black Metal mood. Nice cover art too.
