Really enjoy this, very potent use of the strings and mixed vocal styles

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. I'm usually not a big fan of female vocals in (extreme) metal, but here the male growls and the energetic female cleans fit really well together. Somehow, the whole thing sounds very unconstrained and spontaneous to me, just like they had a blast recording it. Even the tinny drum sound doesn't bother me at all, I actually love it.

The only pity is the pretty nonsensical German band name. The moniker Massenhinrichtung wasn't great either, but it had at least some meaning.

Nice folk album

Pretty good meloblack album. The album ends really well with Contraesthetics part 2.
